Brandon Pope, owner of BPope Productions, is a North Carolina native and a 2008 graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a concentration in Electronic Broadcasting. With more than 15 years of professional multimedia experience as a cinematographer, FAA-certified drone pilot, producer, and editor, Brandon has built a reputation for delivering high-quality visual storytelling throughout North Carolina and beyond.
In addition to leading BPope Productions, Brandon serves as an Adjunct Professor of Communications at Lenoir-Rhyne University, where he teaches video production and visual storytelling. His passion for education allows him to help develop the next generation of media professionals while staying engaged with the latest industry trends, techniques, and technologies.
With hundreds of live productions directed and produced throughout his career, Brandon brings extensive experience to every project. From weddings and corporate films to nonprofit storytelling, university productions, live event streaming, and aerial cinematography, he has worked with clients ranging from local businesses and families to major corporations, nonprofits, and educational institutions.

In recognition of his professional achievements and community involvement, Brandon was named a Hickory Young Professionals Top 10 Under 40 recipient in 2023. He is also a graduate of Leadership Catawba’s Class of 2022, a program dedicated to developing community-minded leaders throughout Catawba County.
His community involvement includes serving on the Leadership Catawba Board of Directors, the Photographic Technology Advisory Board at Catawba Valley Community College, and previously serving on the Hickory Young Professionals Leadership Council and the University City Commission Board for the City of Hickory. Brandon also regularly donates aerial photography and video services to local organizations, including Lenoir-Rhyne University, the United Arts Council, Centro Latino, the Catawba Science Center, and the Hickory Crawdads.

With over 8 years of professional experience, I aim for artistic excellence and a commitment for repeat clients, providing quality multimedia productions. I provide cinematic HD/4K video for wedding films, professional photography, business film, live event streaming, motion graphics, aerial cinematography, or documentary storytelling. What makes me different? Unlike most videographers, I shoot on a 4K mirrorless interchangeable lens camera which give you a look you won’t find on most cameras and provides a “film” look compared to regular “video.” This allows me to provide you with the latest in video recording technology as well as a discipline in cinematography.
